The impression is insightful. For skills, from initially liking design just for fun, but it turns out there are many other elements that can be used as a benchmark for whether a design is good/worthy of being published and the information conveyed is on point or not. Outside of skills, there are also many experiences and lessons that can be obtained starting from team management, leadership, to organizing tasks. From that, you can shape yourself to evaluate what you should do in the future, especially for your career path after graduating. Because in the lab itself, it turns out to be a small simulation of when we work later. Basically, during the work period in the lab, the level of self-improvement always develops over time. The message is, hopefully the GTX lab can be more advanced and competitive, especially in its field, many achievements are obtained, and the harmony between assistants is even closer

GAYU | GTX 21

Putu Ayu Dharma Prakas Mahardani

Hello! I’m Ayu Dharma, with GAYU assistant code, an alumni of GTX assistant class of 2021.

Before joining GTX, I was an alumni of Vignette 9.0. From there, my interest in joining began to emerge. During two periods at GTX, I was part of the RND division, not only learning to be a lab assistant, but also a research lab assistant. It was so much fun, especially getting to know the RND seniors and juniors who were like family.

The most memorable thing is that I not only got technical skills, but also learned teamwork, problem-solving, and how to manage time. In addition, there is a special satisfaction when juniors just say hello, then say, “GAYU, right?” Hehe, it feels so good to be known as part of GTX.

For those who are still hesitant to join GTX, don’t think twice! There are many valuable experiences and lessons that you will get.

During my time as an assistant in the Engineering Drawing and Design Studio laboratory (GTX), I feel that this experience has greatly shaped my character, especially in terms of responsibility and discipline.
Through the tasks and activities that have been carried out while being a GTX assistant, I learned to work carefully and on time for the smooth implementation of the practicum. This experience also taught me the importance of a professional attitude and family that are beneficial in the work environment and internships. The discipline that was formed during my time as an assistant helped me live a structured work rhythm, so that I am better prepared to face the challenges of self-development in the future.

Being part of the GTX lab is a very valuable experience during college, not only deepening technical understanding, but also learning about responsibility, communication, and how to mentor others. Interacting with students and lecturers provides new insights and improves the ability to work together and manage tasks professionally. I hope this experience will continue to provide benefits, both for me and for other prospective assistants and the GTX lab can continue to grow to produce a more qualified generation.

My experience as a GTX lab assistant was my best decision during my 4 years of college. Without being an assistant, I am sure I would not have gotten the experience of teaching, doing research, visiting companies, and many other things. I am also very grateful to be able to know and work with fellow assistants with different backgrounds, so that I can gain insight from various perspectives. The GTX Lab is also a place to learn and a place to simulate a professional work environment, where ethics and manners are always upheld. Keep moving, GTX!

Being part of GTX Lab is something that I will always tell people about. I’m very proud to have been part of it. Not only did I learn about engineering drawings, 2D and 3D software, I also learned to be professional, responsible, work harder in completing my responsibilities, and most importantly, to work with amazing people. All the activities we went through with many discussions with a little debate which turned out to make the relationship with each other even stronger. A lot of laughter and crying we went through together and will certainly be remembered forever. thank you very much to everyone who has been involved. Hopefully we can meet again to spend time together and talk about many things.

Be proud of all the selected people who have joined! Have a wonderful journey!

GTX has been one of the most impactful places in my personal development. Here, I not only learned engineering drawing but also developed teamwork skills with other assistants and built good relationships with lecturers and other organizations. This experience has shaped me by providing many valuable lessons. GTX truly supports personal and professional growth.

KAK IRMA (GTX’17)

Joining GTX Lab was one of the best decisions I made during college. So an assistant is not just studying engineering drawing, preparing for practicum, and taking care of practicum. Beyond that, there are far greater benefits to be had. Because of Gartek, I can participate in various competitions, be involved in many projects, publish journals, become a trainer, and many more. Thanks to this experience, I was greatly helped to face the world of work today. In addition, seniors and alumni provide a lot of knowledge, insight, and input that can help us become even better. Thanks, Gartek!

KAK GILANG (GTX’16)

Many say that success can be achieved by working hard, but the world doesn’t work like that. Our success is influenced by many factors and some of them are methods, media and relationships. My success manifested itself in the GTX Laboratory. It gave me the way, the media, and the relationships to be much better than just an ordinary student.  Can be involved in many projects and research, develop self-competence in all activities, to win international scale championships. GTX is the perfect place for me and you guys who are much better and can be useful for many people.

KAK GAMAS (GTX’16)

Being a part of GTX lab’s assistant is one of my pride until today. The experience I gained while being a GTX lab’s assistant proved to be very useful when I graduated and started my professional career. Thanks to the culture and support of my peers in the GTX lab, I have become a better person than ever.
